Every once in a whlie, I checked Megan's Facebook page before her wedding... and her anticipation was pretty evident by her status changes and cute little notes to Micah on his wall:). Finally, her day arrived, and, although October in St. Louis at times felt a little more like June, Megan and her bridesmaids transformed the inside of the church into a fall wonderland. Richly colored leaves were scatter here and there, and the warm tones of fall were accently by the glow of flickering candles. It was truly beautiful.
Megan getting ready.
They had such cool flowers! I love the fall colors.
Megan shared some special time before the ceremony with a few women in her life.
I just love this moment! Megan and Micah truly are in love and I think this pic pretty much sums it up. There was so much going on that day and tons of people present, but Micah and Meg were totally in awe of each other.
While I was taking this...
... Jon was taking this. What a team :).
The first dance that Micah and Meg ever danced to was none other than the Hokey Pokey. So it was only fitting that they dance to that same song at their wedding ;).
We didn't have much time to shoot outside so my sunflare shots had to wait until their day-after session (more on that later!), but I did get some flare off their bling ;).
Since the wedding and reception took place early in the day, Megan and Micah had planned to do most of their shots together downtown after the festivities. Because it was unseasonably warm, however, we decided to wait until after the honeymoon to do their session. These two are so creative and have such a great sense of style, so of course we had an amazing time at the shoot! I'm still editing, but I'll be posting them very soon!

I've been so anxious to see the pics from this wedding. They are so beautiful. And Simon! You got Warren and Athena's little boy. I'll have to send them this link. I am supposed to photograph the birth of their next baby, which is due... tomorrow. :) I can't wait.
Good luck on your photoshoot tomorrow! Let me know how it goes!
Thanks Lisa! Her due date is tomorrow, so I'm hoping the baby will come then and not wait around forever. We'll see though! I'll definitely let you know how it goes. It will be especially cool because they are having a home birth.
