Nichole + Chip

I met Chip and Nichole at a surprise party for one of our mutual friends at a winery in Augusta last year, and I was elated when they asked me to shoot their wedding! Nicole did such a fantastic job with the details of her event, which was held at one of my very favorite places, the Sheldon Concert Hall.

Warning: lots of pics contained in this post.  Call me indecisive, but I just couldn't narrow down my favorites.

Cool cake shot by my ever-talented Jon.

The venue had such amazing light and detail.

Jon grabbed this shot while the girls were getting ready.  We LOVE the Sheldon.  And check out that sunflare.  Yeah, you've learned well, grasshopper :).

One of the cool things about this wedding was that they had a bluegrass band play for part of the ceremony.  And, as coincidence would have it, this was the very band we heard at the winery the day I met Chip and Nichole!  I snagged this shot while the band was rehearsing.

Chip's parents were so happy :). I grabbed a ton of shots of them exchanging smiles while the bride and groom said their vows.

After it got dark, we headed just down the street to shoot in front of the Fox.  And it was our lucky day because the road in front of the theatre, which is usually a very busy street, was shut down temporarily because of an event that was held earlier that day.  So we literally had the whole street to ourselves.

Have you ever seen Grand St. this quiet?  We sure did get there at a perfect time! Just a few minutes after we finished shooting, the street was opened back up.

And I had to include one of Jon, shot with my new fisheye lens.  He's talented and a looker.  I am one lucky chica :).

I'm glad you posted this. First of all I love all of the pictures, but also because I get to sing in a wedding next week at this place and it looks pretty flippin' sweet.

Love the pictures! I don't know why but my favorite is the "pants shot" of the guys. Something about the stripes just makes it awesome :) Also, the groom looks like Nathan from "Heroes."
